Innocent in Death

By J.D. Robb (Nora Roberts)
ISBN: 978-0-425-21754-2

A young male schoolteacher is murdered by poison put in his chocolate milk. All the adults are under suspicion. As Eve Dallas checks motives and alibis, she finds drug crimes, but she doesn’t find the murderer. At the same time, an old flame of Roarke’s is trying to separate Eve from Roarke.

Every time I read another book of Roberts, I know that she is just getting better. This book is the best of the Dallas series. (and more horrifying).

I enjoyed the story, the red herrings, and the characters. I give this book 5 stars.
